Research and planning - location and makeup ideas

- The use of mise-en scene for our location we chose woods and a dark pathway which links with the narrative of the film and the genre of horror. Its a good location as it shall make the film more mysterious. Especially the part when we show a figure of a person behind a tree. Which makes it have more tension.

-By using a dark location makes the setting more mysterious and has more of a secret to whats going to happen and it shall enhance the dark shadow figure in the trees for the first two minutes of our horror film. Its a typical location for a horror film. The lighting of the effects is a low lighting which has a decrease in the lighting which creates more of an effect which emphasises the figure of the antagonist behind the tree within our opening two minutes.

- By using this has more of an effect to the character and the audience and gives me of an impression that shes been outside and its been raining. So it shall link with the rest of the narrative and storyline  And it shows that it's not just staged but the main character has been out in the woods all night and that it's been raining and it makes and creates more of an effect of on the opening two minutes and narrative and the horror genre.
